Ben Somberg is the former Center for Progressive Reform Media Manager. He oversaw the organization's blog and worked to promote CPR's scholarship in a variety of media. In 2013, he began working with the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards and Public Citizen, and subsequently moved to the American Association for Justice.

Senator Mary Landrieu released her hold on the nomination of Jacob Lew for Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and the Senate confirmed Lew by voice vote Thursday evening.
